I mean…okay?
I’m just saying that they really can’t talk about firing him until he’s convicted, and even after that it takes time. If he’s suspended without pay it’s functionally the same.

Basically impossible to fire a cop until they’ve been convicted.

I’m a middle aged upper middle class white guy with glasses. I love NPR. I love it. But they screen the hell out of calls to fit an editorial narrative.

It seems crazy to spend billions on a high speed train when it can routinely take an hour to get from Newton Center to South Station (8 miles) but whatever.

So many accidents on 128. Crazy. Drove past 2 cars spun out and smushed together in the left lane. Go 100 yards and people are doing 60 and weaving in and out of traffic. Dude. What do you think happened to those last two guys?

I'm surprised they need IT workers since most of the system is from the middle ages.

Nah. You’d either have to go v-e-r-y slow or risk buses smashing into the side of the tunnel every time the driver got a text.

That doesn’t really matter. The cop isn’t going to get a ticket for speeding.

If you can afford to turn on your heat, turn on your heat. It doesn’t have to go up to 75 in the house. But if it’s 35 degrees in your kitchen, your pipes are very much on the brink of freezing. Set it to 45 if you want, but jeez man, a burst pipe is a real problem.

Get an energy audit first. Dollar for dollar you can’t beat insulation and sealing air gaps.
Low temp mini-splits would probably be enough on all but the coldest nights, where you might need a backup. The most efficient would be a ground source heat pump but if you have a small lot that’s going to be hard. The well and recharge need to be (I think) 10’ from property lines and buildings, and (20’?) from each other.
Are you getting an induction oven?
