From the article:

"In four weeks, there have been multiple injuries, ambulances, assaults, arrests and felony charges not at the ACI, but at Providence Public Schools.

The incidents have included students, staff, and a principal being injured.

Many of these events involved knives. Others were beatings."

and...

"Presently, the Providence School Department website now lists more than 350 job vacancies.

Teachers and staff are quitting in droves, at a time when there is full employment and workers — especially teachers — can be selective.

Who would take a job in a work environment in which violence and felonies are the norm?"

>But I don't really think people living in the valley consider that bourgeois section to be the valley.

Sims Ave is absolutely Valley. And it's "Valley", not "The Valley". Fantasies strip club is over there. Not exactly "bourgeois".

Also, you seem to be under the impression that all of Valley Street is Valley. It's not. All of Valley Street south of Atwells is Olneyville, not Valley.

This is Valley

Edit: If I recall correctly, you're also the guy who said Carpenter Street isn't Federal Hill. You need to learn the Providence neighborhoods.

From the article:

Meanwhile, a man who did not want to be publicly identified, told NBC 10 that a group of men representing themselves as Proud Boys was approaching people in downtown Providence, along Empire Street, on a rainy Friday night in early November, in an apparent attempt to recruit.

“They were definitely pitching people on their agenda,” the man told NBC 10 News. “I was just kind of surprised at how open and blatant they were about, ‘hey, we're here recruiting for the Proud Boys.’”

>Waterplace and the Omni residences have incredible demand. The Nightingale opened less than 2 years ago and is one of the more expensive apt buildings (one bedrooms are min $2300). It has 9-10 open units in a 150 unit building.

This is a weak argument. If there was truly high demand for luxury apartments in downtown, there would be zero open units (and a waiting list) in the 150 unit building that you're referencing.

Just my opinion but I think your decision to get a dog was extremely irresponsible.

Teens charged in beating death of Providence homeless man

"Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with the beating death of a homeless man in a Providence park this summer, according to police.
Three of the teenagers are 16 years old and one is 15 years old, police said Friday. The arrests stem from the death of 50-year-old Manuel Delacruz, who was assaulted July 23.
Police responded to the Dexter Training Ground park and found Delacruz, who told officers he had been assaulted by a group of juvenile males but didn’t want to press charges. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died of his injuries the following week."

Let me ask you, Espeeste, why do you think this wine bar failed?

Do you think maybe it's because they didn't have enough customers to keep the doors open? If so, do you think maybe alienating people at least contributed to that? This isn't rocket science.

Or are you going to tell me that the wine bar didn't fail and they just closed because they want to spend more time with their families? And maybe import Sake? That sounds familiar.
