less than 20 cents per hour as the server can handle multiple clients at the same time, but is at the end of the day possibly unnecessary. You can set up AWS lambda endpoints for most of it and it's free for the first million hits. After that it's 25 cents per million or something like that. You use the target app on their phone to fill the gaps and you basically get your callers to run your server for you.

Bioluminescent rabbits used to demonstrate a potential technique of intervention in deadly diseases need to justify being cool?

Nah man you don't get it. Everyone is Squidward when he gets fired but there's no spongebob to save the day. OP needs fuckin' counseling or something.

Did you know that people go out and exercise every day and aren't recognized or paid for it? Are you aware that people take on hobbies in increasingly technical and complex areas and say nothing about it to anyone? Do you think everyone is like squidward when he loses his job? Throw some sources for all this doom porn shit or you're a clown.

Is it a fear from not understanding how limited these technologies actually are? I can explain how this technology works and you'll be able to see exactly how small the threat actually is.

Not exactly. At every point in history when tasks were automated we ended up needing more labor. This was a fear every single time and every single time we ended up hiring even more. I've studied AI and ML technologies as well as the history of technologies and can tell you that if this were going to happen it would have happened not long after the technology was originally developed in 1948. Or when it was refined during the 50's and 60's. Artists are somewhat overreacting to something that threatens stock photo companies more than anyone else. People seem to think that there isn't a limit with these technologies and there really is. Barring a major change in the way space works we are going to have those limits in place for a really long time.

You probably don't want to hear this but that's not what AI is going to do, nor will it even really replace artists. I can actually explain why if you'd like.

I love how there are always such high quality sources on this sub like wraltechwire. Such a trusted name that I'm 1000% confident that a robot that can do the edging, and trim your bush will have a massive market!

It sorta dips into the radio spectrum on the low end, but anything commonly used is most likely going to be used in the microwave spectrum is it not?

5G is just the microwave spectrum. Specifically the spectrum ranging from 24.25–29.5 GHz

As it turns out, you don't need an OS for radio frequencies.

While open loop would be more efficient for say, cooling a home, heat storage would favor closed loop for obvious reasons. Closed loop would also be easier to maintain.

Bioluminescent animals are cool to me by default. Showing someone fireflies for the first time because they're from an area in which they aren't indigenous is like the first time someone sees snow in their 20's. Bioluminescent bunnies are pretty cool little guys to me by default. The fact that we can make them is also kinda cool. As far as if we should be making them, we're not really discussing that. It's intentionally not within the scope of this discussion. To me it feels like this is what bothers you.
