You should really rethink your argument about modern language if it involves quoting something from 40 years ago.

OPs budget should let them get a nice 1 bed near Malden Center, and then they can easily take the Orange Line to their downtown friends in like 20-30 minutes total.

Exactly what's wrong with almost all the options down here. Poutine is supposed to be a sloppy mess that I got from the rink snack bar for $1.50 while waiting for my sister's game to finish.

It was 8 years ago for me now so I don't have very recent intel, but same.
Technically I had PRK done, not LASIK.

It sucks that they have to do more work even after the month-long shutdown, but it does make sense to do that while they already need to run shuttles for the garage work.

It's also a road trip from Denver to ski.

So the thing about the cold is:
-
it's not even fucking cold in Boston
-
Humans invented clothes thousands of years ago

As a kid in the 90s it was way cheaper for my parents to send me to our neighbors on my bike than to pick some up on our regular grocery runs.

Whenever I see dogs at breweries they are outside in the patio section instead of inside.

If that's your itinerary , then downtown actually. Way more if that is downtown/off the redline than in back bay.

I worked in a grocery store in high school. One guy came in and stole like 6 times in row (before they had enough video footage to get the cops to find/arrest him). They actively told us not to care.

If you're single, work from home, and are scared enough of the city to want a gated community (which don't even exist around here), why are you moving to Boston?
Save your money and work from home somewhere cheaper and where you feel safer.

She isn't making friends through school? That seems like the prime environment for making connections with people with similar interests, lack of established social circles, etc.

Look along the Orange and Green lines, as that's what goes through North Station. Find a hotel that meets whatever your budget is.
