That’s a common occurrence in Hampden, unfortunately. I’ve been ignored or yelled at way too many times.

On the other hand, I saw the local drug abusers walking down the middle of Union Ave tonight (in the road) and cars were (understandably) honking at them. They then proceeded to cuss all the cars out — despite being in the wrong. They were both clearly really high, but the drug users in Hampden make me really frustrated.

Yep, I walk that way every day. We probably cross paths regularly…haha. I have such a hard time getting people to stop for me on 41st going from Hampden to Medfield. Ugh…there’s a crosswalk and there was speed cameras up, but they mysteriously disappeared.

Yeah, I know they do. I’d rather not go to Towson, if I don’t have to. I usually run errands on Saturdays in Canton or Hunt Valley, so anything near there would work too.

I see a NP through Hopkins Community Physicians and I’ve had no issues with getting anxiety medication prescribed. I only see her once a year and get refills when I need it.

I’m sure. I don’t doubt it. I do love Artifact though, and they’re always friendly in my experience. I’m sure there’s odd ones out, but I guess I’ve been lucky to always have positive experiences.

That's crazy you have that experience. I had my car battery die the other day and someone who worked there agreed to go get jumper cables and help me start it right away. It was super sweet and it saved me from having to have my car towed.

I guess that's true, but I know Trohv leaving The Avenue was a huge travesty.

Spring Cafe looks cool, but I always worry that it's going to go under because I never see anyone there. The new hot dog place looks like it won't last. Then there's a bunch of empty storefronts because of Waffie, the Middle Eastern place that looks like it might finally open soon, the Urban Oyster sign that's been sitting there for almost a year, etc. Also, that Bar Fusion that used to be Bella Italia is a pain in the butt. They blast music halfway down the street and it's obnoxious.

That was before my time. I've lived here for 7+ years and the Avenue has slowly gone downhill during that time.

I'm kind of disappointed with the things that have gone in on the Avenue lately. I live in Hampden and I am not interested in any of the new places. Ever since Trohv went out several years ago, it seems like the Avenue is not as much of a hot spot as it used to be.

Yeah, it's in no way the fault of the employees, but I wish they had a smoother system.

Just during those times? I use it all the time, but at some locations it doesn't even help. I live in the city, but I go to Hunt Valley to go to Wegmans and then I go to Chick Fil A. Their drive through is awful. I get done ordering in 5 seconds, but there's no way to go around the others in front of me who didn't use the app to order.

I saw her at Artifact one time wearing a shirt with her name plastered all over it, as if we didn't know who she was already...
