Right? Why are the folks in that article acting like this problem requires some complex, multi-pronged approach. Just put a tight turn in the road before the Notch, and stick an exit with some signage at the point that trucks will fail. If the trucks can't get onto the road, they can't get stuck in the Notch.

He's a leaf-peeper from Baltimore that got lost here a year and a half ago. He plugged "Baltimore" into his GPS and it took him to Baltimore, Vermont, so he just threw in the towel and bought a house nearby.

Why he's running for office now is beyond me, though.

I'm not saying it only matters if one party does this shit. I agree with you, it doesn't matter who does it, it's wrong.

But that doesn't change the fact that I would have put $100 on this dude being a Republican before I even clicked that link, and I would have won that bet. Politicians suck, but Republican politicians are a special breed of dogshit.

Expect it to be Vermont instead of DC.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but if you want specific information, you need to ask specific questions. People here will put as much effort into answering your questions as you put into asking them. I don't even know how to approach describing the difference between these two places without more info from you on what you want to know.

Sure. It's also common for units to swap patches when they train together. Not everyone does it, but every time I've trained internationally at least one person has come to swap patches with me. People like to collect them, usually they'll put them all in a shadowbox when they retire. I know the US sent a lot of training teams to Ukraine around 2017-2018 I believe, it's entirely possible he trained with them and the patch was a gift. There could very well be some 18x American SF guy with a matching Ukrainian flag patch somewhere.

There are pictures of Ukrainians wearing all kinds of goofy patches they've collected from the NATO forces sent to help train them up. There's one floating around with a Ukrainian wearing "Don't Mess With Texas" patch lol.

The camo answer is pretty obvious. It's by far the easiest pattern to get gear in aftermarket. If you want top of the line shit because you're going to be living in it and fighting a war in it, you're going to be wearing multicam.

As for the flag? Who knows. Maybe he's happy to be getting American supplies and it's just a show of solidarity. Maybe it came with the uniform and he just threw it on there for kicks. Maybe it's a political statement, trying to show that Ukraine is aligned with the West.

I'm not really sure there are any, at least around Chittenden County. I know there was one in Burlington that got closed down because people didn't like the name or something, but that's the only one I knew of.

I used to live there for a bit, I think Northfield is a great little town. It does have Norwich University's campus there, so that might be a bad thing for you if you can't stand college kids or a good thing for you if you want to go watch the games there.

It's a beautiful area, it has a cute downtown, it's near Montpelier, and it's generally affordable compared to a lot of other areas along 89. There are some great houses there for the money, the only reason I haven't moved back is because my entire professional and social network lives between Burlington and the Canadian border, so it's a long commute.

>Initially, the girl said she was not sexually active and did not know how she could have become pregnant, stating that she sometimes sleepwalks but does not remember anything, indicating she attributed her growing stomach to being a “chubby” kid despite having missed her period since December.
Upon subsequent interviews, the girl began to say that she thought that Welch might be the father of her child, born on June 30. Court documents show the girl denying that she’d had sex with Welch but saying “maybe something could have happened while she was sleeping” and that she was a “pretty hard sleeper” who doesn’t wake up to “anything other than the smoke alarm.”
The girl also stated that she did not believe the father could be anyone other than Welch.
