That 'insulation' is called a dielectric.

The dielectric is sulfur hexafluoride. You can watch some amusing videos about what happens when people breathe it in.

Unfortunately, its, perhaps, the strongest greenhouse gas known to man and resides in the atmosphere for 3200 years.

That material should be banned on Earth. On Mars it'd be a desirable terra forming gas. Here? its a forever nightmare compound.

Why would the action of two knuckleheads require the 'education' of the whole school? How does the actions of two knuckleheads 'reflect' on the 'whole district?'

'Diversity 'education'' comes across as political re education...

Wow. That really sucks. Is your TC nonresponsive to other town issues? I mean, making a deal with Pennichuck wouldn't cost the town a penny. It'd be on you folks or, better yet, your builder, for selling you a pig in a poke.

Your Public works might have a notional plan for the development of a town water distribution system. If you're really lucky, you might be able to get them to kick it off.

Why would Skillings stop if they didn't hit water? They need to be approached too.

The TC has no responsibility to your and your purchase.

I want to say in 1995, there was a section of Bedford 'The Birds' where the whole neighborhood was struggling to access water enough that Pennichuck plumbed in a line and set up a pretty big tank at the highest point in the neighborhood and set up a fairly local water distribution system that was lengthened enough to feed a grade school not too far away.

Maybe your TC can have Pennichuck do the same thing for that area, too. Going to their site, it doesn't look like Brookline is part of that system...

The number of 'clearcut acres' seems large. If we assume a massive cut width of 200', every 200' would be roughly an acre (209 by 209), or a 200' wide cut that extends 55 miles.
If the cut is a more modest 100', that'd be 110 miles.

When you consider the forest edge is the most biodiversity rich, that's a vast improvement over 'solid forest.'

Me? I suspect the angst is over acted.

Not just for NE. For PR, the USVI, HI and AK, along with the Marianas

It's a law. He can't just wave it away.

Those price increases are driven by the cost they have to pay. What are they going to do? Provide you power for less than they pay?

Yes. H2 is even more stupid than corn ethanol for fuel oxygenate.

Politicians have discovered they can create whole new constituencies by buying the votes of corn farmers and wind mill developers and solar panel installers by making access to things like nuclear and natural gas 'hard' or even 'impossible.'

LOL! WHY? Their prices reflect their COSTS and PUC approved profit.

What do you expect them to do? Sell you power for less than it costs?!?

They aren't a monopoly. They're a state regulated utility.

What you should be complaining about is 'why are costs so high?'

EVERY single reason is a democrat failure. If it's any consolation, this has been coming for a decade. Silly you for not being aware enough to figure it out.

Here's an option: Cork the Iroquois line feeding Long Island and use that gas in CT, specifically, Mystic.

Let NY figure it out. Those fucks are why we (all of New England) don't have access to plentiful and cheap natural gas.
