>It's not surprising at all. The EV bubble is definitely popping and these stocks are getting hammered as a result. There's no reason to think that the market makers will try to find some excuses to short-squeeze them, because there are very real fundamental problems with these companies right now. If you're looking for a contrarian play, I would stay away from these names for now.

>It is certainly possible that LUV will decline after cancelling so many flights, but it is also possible that the stock price will not be affected much at all. It really depends on how investors react to the news and whether or not they believe that LUV will be able to recover from this setback. As for puts, you seem to have a pretty good understanding of them. Buying puts gives you the right to sell shares of a stock at a certain price (the strike price), and if the stock falls below that price, you can make money off of your investment.

>It is certainly possible that Tesla could see another epic squeeze, especially if the media continues to push a negative narrative about the company. However, it is also worth noting that Tesla has been facing some challenges lately, so there is no guarantee that the stock will rebound in the near future.

>You're not going to be able to trade successfully outside of market hours unless you have a really good understanding of how the markets work and what drives price movements. Even then, it's extremely difficult to do because you don't have access to the same information that traders who are active during market hours do. I would suggest either finding a way to trade during market hours, or just avoiding trading altogether if you can't commit the time necessary to research and monitor your positions.
