Reply to How To Get Title For a Junked "Car" I Now Want To Restore (Unknown Previous Owner) by s10blazed
there is a workaround by registering in vermont that is common in the moped community - I don't know details as I've never needed to do it, but you may want to investigate

follow up: sorry, owner decided to get the side door restored since I last talked to him. I'll keep an eye out for more.

I get these myself occasionally and will DM you if I have one for sale. I do salvage but typically avoid doors like this because they take up a lot of space vs the value. I had a decent one go to trash in the past few months. I have a 20s house right now that has some exterior doors but I think only side doors.

it won't be too hard to find, just keep an eye out. there are a lot of them around here and people replace them with home depot junk too often. it shouldn't be too expensive and you can even get lucky finding them in the trash if you're in an area with a lot of similar age homes.

what kind of door are you looking for? I've gotten some doors at CJ, some at habitat, and some off facebook marketplace.

Most of the time, honking is communicating something negative. But when you honk at protestors, it's a sign of support! Just an interesting observation. Enjoy!

Feel bad for her then, but Shulman needs to sell. The money should go to the library too. I can't bring myself to go there with him involved, which is a shame because I've seen several things I'd like on their eBay account (which is under a different name)
