Back when NH had Civil Rights Day instead of MLK Jr Day, David Duke and his merry klan came to Concord to celebrate whiteness.

Counter-protesters outnumbered the Duke Klansmen 3-1 and the Capital Security force was “tactically incapable of protecting Mr Duke and his associates”. Response by area police was “cautious” “due to the number of pedestrians in the area”.

~ 10 mph

Sadly cough Mr Duke and his associates caught a fair smack down, from the yeomanry of NH. Not from lefty college kids from liberal states, nor blue haired Democrats from MA, but your average Carhartt wearing Granite Stater.

Duke took the hint, only after his lawsuit over the lack of protection was summarily dismissed.

Perhaps with a buyout, Exeter could become a better hospital. IntelligentMeal40 wasn’t exaggerating the known problems at Exeter. A friend’s wife went there ~ 10 years ago while he was at work. 50-something female, fatigue, non-specific back pain. ER/Attending said something along the line of: Menopausal female, likely depressed, requires HRT and antidepressants.

She was dead of a heart attack just prior to 8 PM. She presented symptoms that anyone in an EMT or Paramedic program would learn on day one of “what does a heart attack present as, in the female patient”.

Word on the street was to consult a veterinarian rather than Exeter Hospital. If in an Ambulance, get out and take your chances - you might survive.

Or you’re a native to Northern New England, where “mud season” doesn’t exist on the Roman calendar, yet everyone can state when it’s time. Same for “tick season” “blackflies” and “mosquito”.

There was a time when “trout season” “deer season” and “hunting season” meant things too, but flatlanders have decided those are anachronisms of a hateful era.

True, however we saw the “rules” flex in the Democratic Debates, where Tulsi was tossed from future debates after curb-stomping Kamala over indefinite imprisonment for the financial gain of CalCorrections. Tulsi “didn’t qualify” while others were invited to the stage, polling worse or not polling at all.

“Legal” as Sanders v DNC held the primary process is the entire product of the Democratic Party, which the respective States and the FEC have no actual role in determining “fairness” or equal access.

The role of the States and the FEC comes in the general election, where the DNC can insist that rules of a State violate the fairness of BI-partisan elections. That the States have a legitimate role in repressing 3rd party and independent candidates, as “they are confusing voters” and not consistent with a history of BI partisanship.

Therefore, Primaries are mere Kabuki Theater. Nothing is as it appears, all the actors, including actresses, are men. The plot is known, the outcome assured.

Much as they did in 2015, the DNC can meet, decide to advance a single candidate (Hillary) or a small pool of candidates representing various factions within the Party: Beto, Kamala, Joe, Amy, Pete. One falters? Add another, maybe Deval Patrick will have the Obama touch. Not really declared? Put him on the ballot in NH as a A/B test.

That’s why “First in the Nation” is meaningless, unless you’re a paid political consultant, or you profit from the deeper pockets of a national political establishment, buying TV spots at 4X typical rates. If you’re WMUR? The First in the Nation, is a crucial, indispensable asset. One year of political ads, fluffs the budget for the next three.

The market demographic is elementary and middle schoolers, and the developmentally disabled (sorry if I seem to be repeating myself). As such the big truck/crappy graphics/Nick-After-School SlimeTime™️ cringe is allegedly effective at reaching disaffected apathetic youth. Or so I’m told: “You should see how enthusiastic our xx graders are!”

Yeah, they ditch class for a day, while these guys make bank.

“They’re a non-profit!” So was The Clinton Foundation. Bill and Hill didn’t miss too many meals while living in ghetto Chappaqua NY.

The Probate position was stripped of powers and duties by a combined effort of hateful budget cutters - and - the NH Bar Association which views the Country Probate as taking business righteously that of lawyers. Too poor to afford a lawyer? Sucks to be you… we’re taking your one recourse away.

The Sarwarks did move here in the same fashion as Free Staters. They are NOT in the good graces of the Kauffman cabal, nor do they hold every public employee and institution in contempt. Facts are difficult things. You can always just vote for the Republicans opposing Sarwark and Manzo.
