Seriously? Just like me sharing my personal experience of the park. You are really trying to grasp onto nothing here.

You are using one of the worst anti-viruses on the market. Put the URL into something like VirusTotal and it actually scans with 20+ different products. My link shows up completely clean

I told myself I wasn't gonna waste my time replying to you. But here I am....you won I guess.

All I said was I walk there. I never said it was Disney world. I walk there multiple times a week and live nearby. It's really not some terrible place, not much worse than any other part of the city at midnight. (I also never suggested walking anywhere at midnight or said it was safe to do so)

What does my credibility have to do with my statement. I said none of your posts about this violence ever gets any positive feedback. That has nothing to do with me. You're wasting your time. We can read/watch the news ourselves. What you think of my "credibility" is meaningless, when there is a serious lack of anyone enjoying your posts.

The bus system really isn't so bad. Some lines run often. If you live off Broadway (really nice, walkable area surrounding that road) for example the bus there runs every 15 minutes so even if one's late it's not the end of the world.

That brings you right downtown. Once you need to start transferring it can get annoying. But the transit app has live tracking and is super helpful.

I have a stop right out front of my apartment so I just check the app before bothering walking out.

If you live in federal hill (and parts of the West end close to federal hill), Fox point, the jewelry district, or downtown I'd say it's extremely walkable.

Federal Hill has a walk score of 93, Fox point has a 94 and downtown has a 99

It definitely depends on the neighborhood

I've been to Portland Maine and from what I can tell just the downtown area is walkable. The rest of it doesn't have much goin without driving somewhere.

What are you talking about? I've been to 30 different cities and 4 countries. The food scene here is really good. Some amazing restaurants and food producers reside here. Johnson and Wales is a very highly regarded culinary school with many of their chefs staying and influencing the restaurants.

Below are some amazing Providence restaurants: Oberlin, Aguardente, Massimo, Slow Rhode, Chilangos, Los Andes, Slow Rhode, Nick's on Broadway, Broadway Bistro, Gracies, Aleppo Sweets, Jahunger, Bayberry, La Pinata, Rouge Island

We cultivate plenty of awesome local grocery items here too. Check out the new hope and main market.

Have you been to pizza Marvin, nice slice or Annas Vesuviano?

Even the food pop ups are next level here. Hanju kitchen, masa taqueria, trap box, etc

Sounds like you haven't explored Providence enough

Providence has some really nice neighborhoods. Smith hill is not one of them. Even Smith hill is not so bad on most streets though. You definitely need to learn ins and outs of the city. But once you do it's actually a great place to live.

It has some great walkable neighborhoods. I sold my car. I love it up here. It all depends on what you are looking for. Warwick isn't for everyone.

I mean where OP is is a serious hot spot for consistent daily crime. I'd stay out of reach of the high school. The surrounding blocks there are notorious for issues. You don't need to go far for the neighborhood to get a lot better.

Other parts of the West End don't really compare. Petty crime exists anywhere in the city. But there are plenty of spots in the west end that you don't need to live in daily fear that your car windows are smashed.

The neighborhood and whole city really can vary greatly just street by street.
