It is not my first relationship but it is his first. However, I didn’t have sex in my other relationship so it’s my firs time as well.

We never had sexual intercourse but at the beginning of the relationship he initiated several times sexual contact, but then it only decreased from there. I have tried talking to him about it, and he always says he wants it. We even tried scheduling it but then he either forgets or doesn’t talk about it. I am not sure if he is insecure, or genuinely not that interested.

I don’t think he is? He’s shown interest before, especially at the beginning of the relationship.
