Yeah I agree with that. I felt I was getting a full trip. Especially loved the coastal dynamic the further south I went into Milford sound.

Yeah the weather was very dynamic there. From sea to mountain top. Very beautiful in various ways.

Nikon d750 with 600mm. I was told this was near or is Fox glacier. Photo taken from the beach on the west coast facing East towards the glacier.

You can snorkel it any time of the year assuming that the weather is ok. Winter does tend to have some west and northern swells that are larger but I’ve found perfect days almost any time of the year depending.

In my opinion yes. From east Maui you just see the sun set over the island of Maui. West Maui you get an ocean sunset with the view of lanai and Molokai. Sunset is varied depending on your position on the island.
