There’s too much to list. My latest top choices for new spots:

Rockfish, sushi. Menya Gumi, ramen. Hachiroku, izakaya. Atticus Market, sandwiches and such. Munchies, subs. Fair Haven Oyster, seafood. Luke, special occasion dining. Tacos Los Gordos. Tibetan Kitchen.

The 2 Yale galleries are world class. Go to East Rock Brewing. Incredible sushi next door (Rockfish), but closed Monday.

I’d do Modern for pizza. Less crazy wait, open on Monday’s. Nolo is another option if you want NO wait.

Lots of other good food too, just depends on what you want.

I went there too.

One big problem is how incredibly lacking Danbury is for anyone college aged. Downtown is terrible and there’s just very little to do.

The old mayor would always boast about growth, while the downtown floundered and it became more of a strip mall city. It just has no vibe.

There’s many better cities in CT to live at college age.

All of the above. Cosmopolitan pizza? Is English not your first language?

Don’t miss some of the under the radar pizza stops. I’m a big fan of Next Door, Nolo, Atticus Market (weekends only), Frisco’s, Zuppardi’s, Mike’s.

Oh, damn. Bummer another shitty club opened there. For a bit, it was going to be developed by the owners of College Street Music Hall, then by the Shubert owners. Both fell through.

Clubs bring a stupid crowd to downtown. Another legit music/entertainment venue would be so much better.

Edit: nvm, that’s not the space I’m thinking of. Google Maps placed it on the wrong side of street. Yes, that space has been though several shitty clubs in the last 10 years.
