Why would a credit union help your credit score?
You need a secured credit card if it’s your first. Pay it off every month.
Or if you have credit cards, pay them down. Quickest way to increase your score.
I went from like 700 to 848 just by paying them off.

I feel like Koffee used to be open later on weekends. Coffee Pedaler too.
Pistachio is a good option. Gather too.
I’d say August and Cave a Vin would be solid choices that would serve coffee later. Owl Shop too.

Love Berlinetta, excellent lagers and pilsners. Not favorite in state though. Have you ever been to Fox Farm? They’re incredible.

If you don’t like IPA’s, East Rock is great.
curbthemeplays t1_j1e6pq5 wrote
Lots of good suggestions already. Would add High George and Elm City Social roof bars when warm.
116 Crown for higher end cocktails.
I find people at Three Sheets can be pretty friendly. Gather, too.
Some breweries too. East Rock and Armada Brewing. 12% Beer Project, NEBCO, or Tribus just outside the city.

There’s too much to list. My latest top choices for new spots:
Rockfish, sushi. Menya Gumi, ramen. Hachiroku, izakaya. Atticus Market, sandwiches and such. Munchies, subs. Fair Haven Oyster, seafood. Luke, special occasion dining. Tacos Los Gordos. Tibetan Kitchen.

Great recos. Atticus Market in East Rock has incredible breakfast sandwiches and other grab and go food. Munchies makes phenomenal subs.

The 2 Yale galleries are world class. Go to East Rock Brewing. Incredible sushi next door (Rockfish), but closed Monday.
I’d do Modern for pizza. Less crazy wait, open on Monday’s. Nolo is another option if you want NO wait.
Lots of other good food too, just depends on what you want.

I went there too.
One big problem is how incredibly lacking Danbury is for anyone college aged. Downtown is terrible and there’s just very little to do.
The old mayor would always boast about growth, while the downtown floundered and it became more of a strip mall city. It just has no vibe.
There’s many better cities in CT to live at college age.

Breweries. 12%, Counterweight, Tribus, NEBCO.

I’m a big fan of Giv. They’re in Canton CT but they will ship for free for the right sized order.
Perkatory is in Branford and a good one if you want to drive somewhere.
I haven’t tried Willoughby’s but it’s on the list.

Over the Edge in Orange. They’re locally owned, honest, and have Roadforce balancing.

Got nothing for you in New Haven. I’ve never found one.
I use the Shell on New Haven Ave and Old Gate Lane in Milford. Dogtown is down the street and a pretty good excuse to go.

I do prefer all those to Ernie’s too. And Next Door, and Mike’s. But Ernie’s is good. Just not in my top tier.

Oh, I guess so. The only true Neapolitan style pizza in New Haven is Zeneli, though. The OG’s were just founded by Neapolitan immigrants.

All of the above. Cosmopolitan pizza? Is English not your first language?
Don’t miss some of the under the radar pizza stops. I’m a big fan of Next Door, Nolo, Atticus Market (weekends only), Frisco’s, Zuppardi’s, Mike’s.
