When I was in college, I got a bill for well over $100 for shit I slept through and wasn't witness to. Following semester the other people named someone who had rich parents and had already left the university--didn't reverse the bill.

The head of Neurology at UVMMC last I knew was previously in the same role at Dartmouth, kind of sucks that there are staffing issues at UVMMC.

Great tax revenue. Get your tax money from low-income gambling addicts instead of having the wealthy pay their fair share.

It's basically like the older PGP/GPG technology compared to the more prevalent and high-electricity-consumption solution in the mining of computational complexity.
So basically I believe the dip in BTC and cryptocurrencies in general is because centralized investment went out having been tied directly to electricity prices, amplified by speculation. I'd also think to look into, as a possible cause of previous market fluxes in cryptocurrency, the crackdown on Silk Road, where BTC value was tied in some part to drug market prices.

Reply to What are the best sources for finding out about fun events in and around Burlington/Waterbury? by edjennersmilkmaid
The subreddit news guide can potentially give you some sources to look into other than Seven Days and such (for Burlington, Seven Days is your best resource--don't know about Waterbury)

Ethereum recently switched from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake (if you're concerned about cryptocurrency and mining).

It's one of those things where linguistically there would be a large amount of false positives and logistically there'd be a large amount of moderator work when there are lots of other things that are higher priority in moderating that would get slowed down. Even self-identification via post flair has a significant false-positive rate.

I recommend also asking r/icecoast. There are a bunch of like high end resort places but then there are plenty of other places that are softer on the wallet.

Siegel brought up some of this at the debates with Phil Scott. Hoffer has also made a report about some of this as state auditor. This is a sign of corruption through-and-through.

My grandpa had a story that this one time he accidentally shot the wrong sex of a bird (female pheasant I think) and the game warden was coming his way so he hid the bird by shoving it down his pants. Then left the pants in the washing machine after getting home, which kind of freaked out his mom. Don't think the game warden or anyone else is gonna think about the gender identity of birds beyond an ecological maintenance standpoint.
