I have around 250 notes, some with voice notes pasted in.
The space used? 38.3 MB.
I doubt OP’s notes were much over 1-200 MB.

Gotcha.
A simple way would be to just set the phone aside, honestly. No need to hide the time when you’re not looking at the phone to begin with! :)

May I ask why you want this? Most people use their phone as a watch replacement, and the time is something that is always visible on the Lock Screen as a result.

That was my intention! :)
Seriously though, I don’t think it will cause any harm. Plus that’s usually not a spot that makes contact with people, usually touching the lens is avoided so smudges don’t happen.
If you feel it on other parts, maybe just contact Apple and see what they say?
dskatter t1_j25311h wrote
You can’t. At all. It’s supposed to be there.
Same for lock screen.

I doubt this will be an issue, honestly.
Just don’t rub it against yourself while it’s charging.

No way to know. Probably.

…my question is, why are you rubbing the camera lens against yourself?

Apple can and will unlock accounts for next of kin with proof of death and such.

Oof. Yeah, notes take up such minimal space that deleting them wouldn’t have made a significant difference.
Next time, delete a game or something. :/ Sorry, but I suspect all that info is gone. I hope I’m wrong.

Unless you were syncing them to iCloud on a daily basis, you don’t.
That said…how on earth did you accidentally delete the app? It’s very hard to delete any app accidentally.

Show me an android device from 2014 that has the same responsiveness as the iPhone 6, plus the OS updates the iPhone 6 did.
The first PIXEL didn’t even come out till 2016.

Depends on how charged it is when you plug it in. Charging isn’t an instant thing, you know. :)

Be glad you got the use out of it that you did.
It’s time to upgrade.

You went to a phone with a larger battery. It’ll take longer to charge in general, no matter the method.

I’m willng to wager that OP would have saved money long-term with one Apple-done battery replacement than the multiple they’ve had.

That’s a lot of words for “Have Apple replace your battery instead of having Rando McRanderson do it.”

Perhaps replacing it with an actual APPLE-MADE battery is the issue that should be considered.

It’ll be better for your phone up-front too, less pressure as you sit.
We’re a long way from the supposedly-too-bendable iPhone 6 days, but glass doesn’t usually bend…it cracks. :)

Perhaps you should address those various reasons so you don’t put it in your back pocket anymore?

Someone’s been using TikTok too much, and it’s done some screen burn-in.

Either way, I think OP has learned a valuable lesson about deleting things that one needs without having at LEAST two reliable backups.
