Long press the Lock Screen. You can edit stuff.

I just carry another wallet if I know I’ll be in a situation where more cards might be needed.
For example, when I’m traveling I’ll carry my minimal but still capacious wallet for my various credit and insurance cards.
When I go to work though, all I need is my drivers license, work ID badge and my debit card. Perfect for my MagSafe wallet, and my other cards are available via Apple Pay.

Mine doesn’t.
Aren’t you the one who was complaining about their lock screen turning on their flashlight constantly because you’re jailbroken on an older iOS?
Maybe…update.
Edit: Heh, they blocked me. This amuses me.

Well, everyone is happy then! Glad to hear it!
And that Facebook, and not Apple, was at fault. :)

It’s not “iPhone” that needs to prevent it. It’s just how some apps are designed.
Blame Facebook.

Blame Facebook, honestly. Some apps just auto-hijack the audio when they’re used. Most games, for example.

Because Facebook takes over the audio, likely due to an auto-play setting being on or Facebook just being shit.

If you genuinely have third degree burns on your hands caused by said devices, you should be suing the phone manufacturers for damages instead of coming on Reddit.

I’ve had a screen protector exactly once on all my iPhones. Zero noticeable scratches on my previous iPhones: 5s, 6, 6s, 7 plus, 8 plus, XS, 11, or 12 mini.
I’ve had this 13 for over a year. Display is still completely pristine, but I do keep it in a case 95% of the time.
The ONLY time I’ve had screen damage in all this time was dropping my old 4s on a concrete floor outside of its case, and that was only bezel damage. Not the screen itself.
Obviously this is all purely anecdotal, but maybe it’ll help! I also don’t drop my phone more than once a year, if that!

This isn’t a movie where they can hack someone’s phone if they just keep them on the line or something like that. :)
dskatter t1_j6pa630 wrote
You can’t get hacked from a phone call. At all. They can’t somehow get into your phone by the act of calling you.
You’re fine. Just don’t give out random info to people who call you, THAT is just bad in general.

I can honestly say that I have never had any notch-related issues when watching any video content on my iPhone 13. This includes Hulu, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, PlutoTV, purchased iTunes content, or YouTube (other than the video you linked in the original post) and any other streaming service I’ve used.
If you ZOOM the content, then of course the notch comes into play. But only when zoomed. Most video apps are intelligent enough to scale properly so the notch isn’t an issue in the slightest.

I’ve only ever seen it on the video you linked, honestly.
I don’t consider it a dealbreaker by any means, but it’s definitely there, no matter how small. Mildly annoying but it wouldn’t massively bother me.

It still goes slightly into the video.

You’re welcome! Apple didn’t really make this all that intuitive, frankly. Still find it odd you can’t adjust all this from the Settings app, but there we are!
