As a current elementary teacher, it's not funny and totally not real at all. The amount of times they randomly walk out of a class to have 30 minute discussions NEVER happens in real life.

Looking at Zillow, they are about 800k for 3,000 square feet at far west end (green gate) while there are new townhomes being built on East Main near triple crossing 840k for 2,300 square feet. So you get to live downtown with bad public schools vs suburb hell with better public schools.

What's special about any of them? Supply and demand. These aren't being bought by college grads or working class people from house poor areas. These are being bought by people from other places that sold their shitty townhouse/house for a million and get to buy a brand new place for less.

As a resident of Short Pump, dear God no. This is where soulless families raise their kids (again, I am one). There is nothing fun to do here. The food here is chain crap and the occasional "meh" place. No soul. Stay downtown. You got money, The Jefferson, if not Google something. Downtown has culture, brewery, food, history, and everything is walkable.

We took some teenagers on a zipline through Richmond Metro Zoo. I highly recommend it. One of the better ones I have done (the best one nearby by a long shot). It is half off admission in winter (only $30) and takes a good 2 hours.

I mean, he isn't convicted yet. Hasn't had a fair trial, so I understand the "leave without pay" part. Now if he was on leave WITH pay", then that would would be a major issue. And it's not odd that the other coworkers didn't suspect he was into child porn. Most of the people caught are normal citizens that have a dark past.

Not op but in the past 15 years and two houses, we replaced flooring 3 times. We used Floor Trader right outside Henrico/Goochland for the first home. Spent money and did costen floors when we sold that home. We recently used luxury vinyl plank at Floor and Decor for our new house. If you are able to, installing flooring is very simple. It saves us thousands of dollars by just doing it ourselves. The only downside is that it takes longer (it was just the wife and I and no experience).
