Seriously. I live in Orange County and I have heard more about this guy (I’m so sure it’s objective opinion too. Lol) on Vermont Reddit than from anywhere else. I’ve seen some signs, but that’s it. No ads. (I don’t watch tv. All the political ads I see are on Youtube mainly) No mailings. Nothing. But all the attention here has me thinking of looking him up to see what all the attention is for. Something I wouldn’t have been inclined to do if not for this sub.

Because you said something hateful and dumb just for the sake of being hateful and dumb.

I don’t know anything about this guy other than (now) I realize he’s a Republican. And from your responses, it seems that’s all you know too and you’re such a tribalist that it causes you to post hateful things without knowing anything of what you’re talking about.

I could easily go to his website and learn about him, but I’m waiting for you to teach me up. So far you don’t seem to be able to.

No. You still don’t seem to understand. I know literally nothing about this guy. I’ve seen no ads or flyers. Just signs. So I see someone who only says ‘he’s KKK and so are his followers’ is an obviously stupid statement.

And you say you’ll continue to point out his absurdity, but you’ve pointed out nothing. This is such a useless thread and you’ve contributed nothing to it. This literally applies to you.

Comments like that are so juvenile and predictable. No thought involved. Just a predictable knee jerk response to anything you don’t like. It doesn’t make me weary of the person you’re talking about. It makes me more interested in that person because you’re not able to articulate what you see as ‘wrong’. So I’m going to look into it myself with a more understanding eye.

In other words, you’re irrational hate is going to more likely make me more sympathetic to the victim of that hate.

I’m not going to tell you anything about this Malloy guy. I don’t know a thing about him. Haven’t seen an ad or gotten junk mail. Just the signs. I just think it’s interesting to hear people’s take on what a Vermonter is.

I moved here for work 33 years ago and, because I moved from NH there’s still people who consider me a transplant. And because I was born in Maryland, there’s still people who consider me a flatlander.

I searched his site and found no stance on stuff. I’d really like to know his stance on stuff. Stuff is everywhere. I have a house full of stuff. I was driving down the road and saw a bunch of stuff. I turned on the radio and heard a bunch of stuff. Opened the newspaper and there was stuff there too! Something really needs to be done about all that stuff and I’d like to know what his position is on it.

Now I’ve got to go out in the yard and rake some leaves without stepping in some of the dog’s stuff…
