A freemartin often doesn't have internal reproductive organs. A blind passage ends without connecting to anything else, like the unfortunate bovine's vagina. That's why she was injured by the bull.

I add OJ and orange zest. Maybe a little apple.

The one on Dr. Pol had a blind vagina, and was injured by the bull. Pol saved her life so she could be raised as a steer

Dr. Pol educated the farmer because he didn't know what a freemartin was, much less that he had one. I learn so much on that show.

I saw one on Dr. Pol where a bull tried to mate with a freemartin (the owner didn't know that's what she was). Vet closed the wound and she was raised as a steer. Away from the bull!

Our granddaughter is 19 months and already 36" tall. They'd charge that much to feed a baby?

Reply to comment by robot_socks in ELI5: Why do imaginary numbers even need to exist? by Tharsis101
We didn't learn imaginary numbers until Algebra 1. Not a lot of us took that in Jr hi. Well, I did, but the excellent teacher we had went to teach at the high school, so we got the world's worst Algebra teacher. I'd ask her a question and be more confused afterward, so I learned to figure things out on my own. I felt bad for the kids who couldn't do that and got no help from our very nice but clueless teacher.

I had just had a baby and was in the hospital. My husband came in with the things I'd asked him to bring from home. He said "I have bad news. They lost the Shuttle." My brain couldn't comprehend that, so I said, "W-where did it go? They can't find it?" He said, "No, it blew up." In my overly hormonal emotional state, I had to keep switching channels on TV because I couldn't deal with seeing it. Finally I watched it about 10 pm. It looked like something evil had taken it over, with horns sprouting from it (the solud-rocket boosters shooting blindly upward).
Needless to say, I will never forget that.

The Sentinelese cold-forge iron to make arrowheads. And they are familiar with outsiders. All they would need to do is hold out their hands, stop killing those who try to contact them, and their lives would be easier. Or would they?
My guess is that they have seen what has happened to tribes that accepted the "blessings of civilization": disease, enslavement, loss of their traditional way of life. And they want none of it. They'll accept gifts, but only on their own terms. They're fighting for their independence. And the Indian government patrols stay at arm's length, keeping away those who would exploit the Sentinelese.

The title Sir should be used with the full name, or the first name alone. Not with the surname alone.
Reverend is used in a similar way, but if used with just the last name should be "The Reverend (Mr)(Mrs)(etc) Lastname".

Our local Catholic churches have Friday fish fries during Lent. Fish and chips/fries, hushpuppies, maybe cole slaw or potato salad. You don't have to be Catholic to pick up a plate. As Episcopalians we observe Lent also, and some of those churches have great fried fish.
