My parents went to prison when I was young; I was an emancipated minor who left high school to work; didn’t have much parental guidance or wisdom shared.

I own a successful business; have technical and engineering skills; work two jobs…

Some of the beanies do.. Those I don’t wear to often. I’ve since found some that are looser fitting, but the ‘hair pulling’ sensation is still there.

It’s a bizarre sensitivity.

I do. I wear heavy contractor grade stuff from Work’n Gear.

I have a beanie that probably weighs 10oz…

Wool glove liners with Kinko or Mechanix work gloves.

Smart wool or Darn Tough socks.

I’ve been in MA 12 years, but still can’t get this right! I think the evidence points to poor circulation.

Maybe another data point… Most beanies feel like they’re constricting my head (even ones that are loose fitting).

How / why is wearing a beanie painful?!
