Season 4 is my favourite as well. I really love season 4 and season 1 probably has less stupid stuff overall but the ending to season 4 blew my mind.

No, its focus is 100% on the characters. Most of the mysteries are answered subtly but very well. The character arcs are incredible.

It’s an absolutely fantastic tv show from beginning to end. Season 2 and early season 3 have some bumps but everything else is pretty much perfect.
