They make salt pucks that you toss up on the roof. I toss a few up after every storm and don't take anymore

Yeah I'm not mad haha. I keep asking the wife to move south because I hate the snow. I stay here and the south comes to me. Also I got a new and bigger snow blower this year so you're welcome

She uses Foundation right next to snh. I think they moved up into Amherst now or at least her doctor did. Mostly everyone I know has used snh. I've never been the biggest fan of st Joe's just from the care my stepdad has gotten going there.

I thought snh did a great job when I was there almost 4 years ago. My wife's ob was there at one point. I can't see making the ob stay the entire time waiting for you to deliver the baby.

Reply to Now that the storm is over and the trees weathered the winds - what has everyone experienced price wise for tree removal? by sdemat
I have a good friend who owns his own tree company. He always said it depends on the size, how many, how easily accessible, does he have to climb and how much equipment he'll need. Straight drops are always the easiest. I got lucky when I bought my house he took out 15 trees for cheap. I also work on his equipment for free and store stuff on my property for him now when he needs.

Amherst is also an on-call paid by call department. I think there's 5 or 6 people in the fire/ paramedic who are full time. Milford covers a lot for Amherst it seems.

I use to NH state inspect then I went to work in mass. My brother just had his car fail at zaks. They gave him a list of stuff to fix. He gave me the list and I bought all the parts and changed them. I would never have failed my brothers car for the things they did.

It's a major problem in Amherst with that school. They ask for more and more money every year but the school actually gets worse. This past town voting we gave the middle finger to the school system and told them to deal with what they have.

Yeah I've had that happen to me a few times. The snows usually soft for me. My house is poorly insulated so it's constantly melting. Makes it easier to stick a puck
