Thanks, meant no disrespect, as long as they're stopping the idiots. Think I know where you were, too.

Just a side question - did you mean RT102? RT111 goes through Hudson and Windham.

Reply to Lots of cheap houses for sale in Berlin NH. Is there a reason I don't want to live there? I can understand if no jobs (I can work remotely). Any other reasons? Also how is the rental market? I'm asking because there are inexpensive multi units for sale. by RedLeafRoy
The number one rule in real estate: location, location, location. It’s a stone’s throw from Berlin to Canada, and outside of Berlin, there’s not much else there. Anything to do is long drive, even to the highway.

That’s true, I think due to the drought. But OP didn’t specify CYO, and these guys do a great job (we got ours on Friday)

If everything on meetup is not your age group, perhaps make one that is?

My first wife was a hoarder; when we separated, I told I’d stop paying for the storage unit. When she said “whatever,” I took a pickup truck and with the help of friends we emptied it. Took 3 trips to empty it. Weirdest thing I can recall tossing was a tall plastic kitchen garbage can, filled with used sneakers.

I love the Masters they have on display, I could stare at them for hours. The details are amazing and the brush works are stunning

Look into meetup.com, there are a lot of groups in the area. Find something you like doing, and attend an event. I met my wife this way (we’re big into board games, we’ve met a lot of people this way).

I came here to make the same suggestion. There were a few on display at the craft fair in August.

Honestly, depends on where you go. The higher terrain can still see snow in April (I went to Cabot’s Farm in Vermont in April, and was there in shorts while it snowed. Great cheeses, though).

This is what I do; I’ve kept a list every year of the days I WFH, and when I file my Mass taxes, there’s a place to report this.

There is the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. The wife and I attended their annual festival every August on Mt. Sunapee.

Google “Southern NH Tour of Lights” and you should find the towns that have registered homes. This is the 3rd year that they’ve done this.
