I'm a multi-genre author, both fiction and non. I don't make a whole lot, as stated, but I'm okay with that because I get to do what I love.

Some real interesting guesses but, actually, I'm an author.

I think I finally reached it. I don't make a whole lot of money and I don't own all the best stuff but I'm happy in my life and my work is my play.
It can be done.
(Granted, I'm 57.)

Most artists die having never achieved their due, or very much of anything.
I say this as an author who used to be an actor who has been in a few bands, which is to say I've known a lot of artists. And most will never be known. That's just how it works.

In a shitstorm, one learns to carry an umbrella... until you learn that your umbrella was upside down all along.
At least, that was my experience.

I can vouch. Gameshow type games are hit and miss and miss and miss in general but Jackbox, in any of its myriad varieties, tends to be fun.

We stopped making "additional" nuclear weapons. Now, those we make are considered "stewardship" to maintain the status quo when one gets old and needs replacing. So, it's not like we don't make any.

(I loved Rev Jim so much, I'd pay money to watch Christopher Lloyd riff as Reverend Jim once again!)

And I appreciate that. For many years, I worked in marketing. I didn't really start my career as an author full-time until I was in my 40s, though I wrote my whole life. It's all about finding the path that's right for you and learning to be happy on it.
