Local fox affiliate saying there were under a hundred people peacefully protesting in Lafayette park, who have dispersed. (10 pm)
Also a little blocking of traffic earlier from a different group, but all calm now.

The sharp shinned hawk looks very similar, but itâs much smaller, so I think the artist was going for coopers.

CNN says protests in several cities, including D.C., are peaceful so far. (I donât see any video from D.C., though.)

wow, this is seriously low value, even for the Post. Of course, they just fired 20 people out of the newsroom, so they're going to be looking for content......

Well, I'm assuming OP means legally.
Although I canât help but note that the US has had more shootings this month than Sweden has had in something like 50 yearsâŚ.

No. Wrong city for that. Go over to Fairfax; the NRA would love to have you, I'm sure.
Oh, and donât try taking ammo on a plane. That probably wonât go over well, especially if you donât have a license.

Forest Glen is the worst. At least when an escalator screeches to a halt, you can keep using it. Elevators? Not so much...

NoMa is the old New York Avenue station which was built fairly recently. They just rearranged some tracks and slapped a platform on it. It was an easy build.
As for above ground vs underground--I'm going to hazard a guess that they'd go above ground as much as possible, since any tunneling process (boring or cut and cover) is going to be hugely disruptive and expensive. (Hell, I remember the mayhem that was the Petworth station construction job, and I didn't even live here at the time.)
For example, the Purple line in MD is hung up for another 7 months because of...utilities. The power etc utilities didn't get moved in time, and that's an entirely above ground line. Imagine if they were trying to tunnel?
Not to mention other tunnels they'd have to go around.

Crowns are running $1200-1500, depending on whether it's a ceramic or porcelain with fine metal margin. As the snail notes, call around and check prices. Just make sure a new dentist isnât going to want to do a full exam on you and charge you for that, too.

and if you know you've come in contact with someone with covid, you can get tested and self quarantine.
But I have a feeling you wouldn't do that.
