Skip it entirely, keep your digestive tract intact, and look into a GLP-1 like Mounjaro, Wegovy, or Ozempic (real FDA approved meds, not some MLM supplement.) DM me if you want more info. I've been on one since July and lost 23% of my starting weight.

Please do not post (or ask others to post) the camp locations here, or elsewhere, or they will be bulldozed by the city and folks will lose one of the few places they can exist. I hope your brother is okay, but you should take this down.

Aside from the bigotry, they're also just effing useless. Connecting Grounds does 100x what they do with about 10% of their budget.

You might reach out to The Connecting Grounds. (If you're gonna be homeless, you should know them anyway.) Sometimes they are able to arrange fosters or care arrangements for pets of people who are experiencing homelessness.

Springfield has a large homeless population and a 30 year strategy of "bulldoze the camps and hope the problem magically fixes itself." Which, unsurprisingly, it has not. It just gets worse. That said, homelessness is not visible here in the way it is in Seattle, so if your issue is that you don't like looking at it, it's better. If your issue is thar cities should operate in a way that doesn't abandon people to die under bridges, it's worse.

Don't do drugs, and if you do, pay your dealer promptly and in full. This is the beginning of wisdom.

The Connecting Grounds does amazing work, and does not proselytize, expect anyone to come to church, or push religion at all. Also, they cancelled in-person. church services at their church for the winter so that unhoused families could stay there safely.

Rountree usually gets a couple thousand. The Pickwick/Weller folks generally count 2500 or so in the first few hours. The side streets and parallel streets get in the mid hundreds.
