It isn't at all. It is redundent as hell, I don't know how many times we saw Renner have a meeting with this drug dealer in his front yard. There was this entire storyline involving the love interest that was just so fucking pointless.

Over all it was 3 episodes of typical low life shit dragged out over way too many episodes.

I don't get the purpose of skipping scenes in a drama or even a sitcome.

I understand skipping parts of SNL or a talk show when they have an ongoing skit you don't enjoy.

But skipping parts of a drama is a great way to miss key story points. If I ever find myself disliking parts of a show that much I would just stop watching the show.

Skipping parts of a drama makes no sense to me. That is on par with people who watch shows at 2x speed or scroll on their phones when watching. Why bother, just quit watching it.

No way a third string quarterback is talking shit to the head coach, fellow players, starring in his own commercial and music video after a couple of good games,

Yeah no kidding.

It certainly is worth watching.

I don't agree with either of these critiques. The show does have issues, uninteresting characters and being boring is not among those issues.
