Then why bring this up at all..
Yes the last hour of Cast Away is devastating and beautiful, but so was the first hour.

The concept was shit, so it wouldn't have worked as a movie either.

I checked it out. It is kind of a cool concept but I just couldn't get into it.

As a way to tease the next movie, the MCU is really the first place I saw that.
Post credit scenes have been around forever, the first post credit stuff I saw was in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. They put humorous titles and language in the credits.

Flip a coin.
Buffalo 66 and King of Comedy are both movies that I appreciate but don't really enjoy. I will say that King of Comedy is much more polished than Buffalo 66.

Yes it is completely the wrong choice. The movie starts out as a funny movie about some really quirky, sort of easy going people dealing with what seems a silly issue.
All of a sudden it goes really fucking dark and you realized how miserable they all really are.

Reply to Old show: Third Watch... why did they dramatically shift the direction of this show? by Heraldsquare
They changed direction because wasn't getting good ratings. I agree with you. The first two seasons it was cool in how it was all the various first responders.
On another note the actor who played Bosco is now doing a series of adds for Dr Pepper called "Fansville". It is funny seeing him doing those.

Sure, go buy the rights.

Yep
> It happened for other movies like "The lord of the ring", but could it works for a book that is less known ?
It has happened many times.

Because the show is just terrible.
Season one started great, they reskinned the character but stayed pretty close to the source material. A lot of that got thrown out in the final two episodes and it became very close the shit show that was to follow.
Season two was just wanna be SEAL team dogshit.

I love Chris Pine, but he has such a terrible track record. He just makes terrible movies and shows.
> I thought, after the MCU, the people making D&D movies would understand you need to lead with established characters and stories.
I don't agree with this at all, there are many successful movies that don't have established stories and characters and there are many complete flops that do.
With that said, I don't have much hope for this movie. The ads are weird, it is just so shake and bake.
