If by "a bunch of SNL gags", you mean a series of beautifully orchestrated comedy scenes with great writing and comedic timing/chemistry from the two leads then I completely agree

Like BEE_REAL stated, he had fallen for her. And you can tell he actually had sympathy for her by the end, because she is pure of heart, and what I love is that when she does what she does at the end she is lashing out like a scared animal. Unlike the remake where she seems to actively take joy in doing it

I can agree, but don't feel weird for loving two of the biggest movies ever made lol
