It's the battery optimization. This is what you want the charger to do. It will only fully charge right before you usually take it off the charger to reduce wear on the battery.
It will not fully charge the battery until it thinks it needs to or you explicitly tell it too via the optimized charging notification on the Lock Screen

Generally, an illness or eating something bad will trigger something in the stomach that tells the brain we need to empty the system now. The brain tells the intestines to fast track everything which doesn’t leave time for the water to be properly absorbed so it’s just along for the ride

Who says it doesn’t? That’s essentially what diarrhea is, your intestines not absorbing the water moving through system into the blood stream and just sending it right out.

Banks incentivize people with money to bank with them and then use that money to loan to others and make money on the interest.
Credit card companies make money by charging a fee to the business that accept their cards and they make money on interest when people don’t pay their balance in full each month

That’s not how numbers work. If people loved it it would have sold more

Additionally at idle the brakes can overcome the force of the fan and stop the car. Without brakes the car will move under idle power

Putting the car in gear connects the engine to the transmission. An engine cannot be running and not spinning so even if you’re not pushing the accelerator the idling engine will roll the car if you’re not applying the breaks.
Edit: brakes not breaks. Ironically I answered a question about the difference between the two a while back lol.

Reply to I hope this isn’t too common to ask, would I still get that in Settings if I were to replace the display myself even if the replacement is genuine? I mean, is there something about it that Apple and approved technicians do (that others can’t) so that it doesn’t show up? by Feacrali
Yes you would still get the message. Apple and apple authorized shops have the necessary hardware that tells the phone the new part is genuine and has been installed by an authorized person to turn off that message

Reply to eli5 How come people back in the day didn’t have super realistic portraits? by Biscotti_Trick
Photographs. In the past if you wanted a portrait you needed to sit with an artist and wait for them to paint it. That limited the amount of time an artist had to get everything exactly right because the subject can’t sit still forever waiting to be painted.
Now you can take a high quality photograph and the artist can work from that taking as much time as is necessary.
Also we have much better equipment for drawing painting portraits.

The more you drink the more your body can tolerate. This means that your body can take more before you get a hangover. Or, in your case if you’re drinking a 5th of gin in a night, you’re probably not getting sober enough to get a hangover

Reply to ELI5: Why does a 150mb software update take longer than downloading a 1gb file? by TheRodOfDiscord
Because when you download the file you’re not doing anything with it once the download is done. For an update file you’re downloading the update and then applying the update to existing files on the system which takes more time than just downloading a larger file and doing nothing with it.

Reply to Eli5 Why there arent like 20gb USBs instead each usb has twice as much as the previous(8gb,16gb,32gb,64gb,128gb by nightmarebg69
Because of binary. All data storage sizes tend to be powers of 2 because of the binary nature of computing and storage. They are doubling because they’re the next power of 2

Shooting with a green screen involves filming a person or adding visual effects in front of a solid color. That color doesn’t have to be green there are blue screens as well. Then, by digitally removing or “keying out” that color, you can drop that scene onto the background of your choice in post-production. Removing the colored background is also referred to as “chroma keying.”
Green is usually used because it’s one of the furthest colors from skin tone.

If you have a QR code on your phone in a picture, the phone is smart enough to recognize the QR and read it out of the photo. You don't need to take a picture of the QR code printed out or on another device.
Also, you should be adding the eSIM for your destination before you travel so you just have to toggle it on when you land.
TL;DR: You're doing it wrong.

Not yet, they'll do something with the space after they continue to force the issue and remove physical sims from all iPhones.

It's fine. Apple's own MagSafe Duo Charger which they also list as compatible with the iPhone 14 Pro also causes a gap between the charger and the phone due to the larger camera bumps on the new phone.
