We’re on the verge of a technologically induced phase change of human civilization. We’re at a point where stand alone discoveries are a thing of the past. This technology could turn out to be a solution for 1000s of different medical problems. Penicillin is one drug that saved a lot of lives, the break throughs now are processes or algorithms that will have multiple applications and integrate with other technologies. Wild times to be alive.

Its just a matter or architecture, real time data and a limbic system equivalent to drive behavior. The ecology of information fed to AIs is largely human controlled and static. Its based on real world Outputs but its generally old curated data.

To build a model of its surroundings, “the world”, you need real time data from some environment, the ability to adjust or spawn neural nets, and a system to inherently determine success and failure. This doesn’t have to be a conventional environment humans are familiar with.
