You need to brush up on the difference between "weather" and "climate".

They're older than the North American continent. Bits of the same mountains are in Scotland and West Africa.

The arrested decay really resulted from the Alaska Gold Rush. Seattle became the outfitting center and the railroads gave up on reaching the peninsula.

Unfortunately the city has a nasty habit of vacating ROW in conjunction with simple SFR building permits. The Non-Motorized Committee has done a good job with the public trails program, but it's a shame the city throws away such a blessing that a lot of other jurisdictions struggle to plan around.

As a planner and resident most streets are 70’ ROW. That’s crazy wide, and really a bit unusual.

All housing everywhere is quite the juxtaposition to the nature that was there before it. Grids are superior street planning compared to circuitous, “naturally” shaped streets. Because they look cool from the are does nothing to gain better street planning. It, in fact makes it worse.

It’s not the street planning that’s shit in PT. The entire town was platted out over a century ago, which is quite unique. It’s the street maintenance that they need start taking seriously.

The dude is going camping at Fort Casey, there's nowhere anywhere near or on the way to cut wood. Suggesting going and cutting your own in this case isn't helpful, nor their condescending tone. And as you say "buy where you burn".
I suppose that's why it was downvoted.

But certainly not at Fort Casey.

That link eventually leads you to this page on the Island County website where it clearly says recreational fires are allowed in fire pits.

I thought the same and checked the State Park website. Looks like they allow fires with in formal campsite fire rings.

Gas stations with mini marts. Often at grocery stores as well. You'll also see honor sheds along the road with bundles for 5 or 6 bucks. The Exxon in Coupville probably, or the Red Apple Market.
