Reply to Norovirus? by TurtleSoup58

Apparently disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer aren't effective against norovirus, only strong bleach solutions and hand washing.

I expect one of my coworkers will give it to me soon.

I highly suggest the student organization route also to get together with people of similar interests. I found so many new friends that way.

When I was there a long time ago they would have a big event where the student organizations would come and set up booths. Great way to see what is available.

Getting worse now. Previously clear roads are getting covered. A bit slushy at the moment but expect that to turn into ice shortly.

Glenstone inside lanes are mostly clear, outside lanes are slightly sketch. Intersections are still a little rough. Be careful when changing lanes.

Side roads are mostly hard pack snow and ice.

For the most part it's safe to commute if you pay attention, keep it slow, and make smooth transitions.

Googling this, thought this was interesting, the bill Democrats tried to pass to do the same thing back in 2022 https://www.businessinsider.com/bill-text-nancy-pelosi-house-democrats-stock-trading-ban-2022-9

Actual text of current bill. Just like most contracts I don't feel like I understand this verbiage correctly enough without interpretation from someone that actually does this for a living. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/8990/text

It has been working reliably for me outside of a day around the holidays when it was having issues network wide.

Some people including me had significant issues getting it installed. But now that I don't have to talk to them anymore I'm happy. The speeds are unmatched in Springfield.

Personally I consider dealing with Mediacom and AT&T far worse.

So weird how people think them paying for something I was planning on paying for is a favor to me.

Now there is pressure for me to pay for the person behind me, which could end up being more expensive than what I ordered.

How is that doing me a favor?

Just give the money to the service worker and leave me out of it.

I don't disagree with what you are saying.

My view is someone ahead of me paying for my items is hostile. I did not sign up for this weird chained pay it forward scheme that gives others a fuzzy feeling. I do not want to pay for the four drinks of the person behind me, I want to pay for what I ordered.

If you want to feel altruistic, give the service worker ten dollars and leave me out of it.

I did not have as much pain as /u/MikeBuckets171 did. I felt moderate pressure instead of pain. Overall it wasn't that bad, I've had worse experiences getting cavities filled. I think the worst part of it is the mental aspect of another person carving on your nuts.

I did however go home and immediately look at my incision, get woozy, and fall through the shower door. I suggest sitting down if you want to take a look at the doctor's handiwork.
