Regressive tax rates baked into our constitution. We should change that

Yeah, we got new windows and insulation, and now we are paying the same for heating as we did 2 or 3 years ago (plus a tax write off).
But, I have been hearing that an Electric Blanket is a good investment to save money on heating. At least compared to a space heater.

Again, the original statement is that regular people will complain. Keep in mind, a good chunk of regular people vote for the GOP, so you know many of them are morons. And probably assholes. And likely racists.

Yes, but people are incredible lazy, fickle and distractible. Most people won't look it up. Most people will complain about how much you are getting paid though.
Which means the original advice not to tell people your salary hds true.

Who cares what OP wants. What he should do is visit the Battlefield again, and fill himself with the Spirit of Northern Triumph over the Traitorous South.
And then, he should ride through Georgia, burning everything in his path, in an omage to General Sherman!

They can go again. There are no laws against visiting more than once.

Number 3 seems like an excuse to not to actually do more than a cursory look at the candidates and their track records. Eternal cynicism is what gave Trump an advantage as the media tried to play both sides as equal, when the reality didn't reflect that.
As a group, the media should reconsider number 3 and the impact it is having on our nations discourse.

It funny. It's never 'Here is why I disagree with the Democratic Party and why the GOP is better' it's always 'GOP can't be evil by itself, it must be both sides'.
You have to wonder if the Citizens of Germany in the 1930s had to deal with this as well.
