i think it's a different app. you might want to try alarmy. i don't notice any annoying ads. just some small ones that are easily ignored. nothing full screen or with any audio.

Alarmy? i can choose between a math problem, shaking, memory game, typing phrases, squats, steps, or scan a barcode. i really wouldn't trust the picture to work though.

right? the comments here are so silly. just underhanded compliments, insults, and baseless claims of fraud. is it so hard for people to admit that an "evil" republican is doing something you like?

i'm with you dude. i can't remember the last time i had a bad interaction with a random stranger. pleasant chats at the bars. cordial behavior in the supermarket and friendly nods on the streets. the only time i see the nastiness in people is whenever something political comes up in this sub. i think the last time someone was rude to me was back when some lady was pretending masks worked and yelled at me for not wearing one while i ran in the park.

it is a primary, so maybe it has different rules? i've been told some very biased and unverified facts about non citizens being allowed to vote with just a drivers license in states like California. I'm not sure how true they are and if that would apply in VA.

that's good. i was 98% sure that was the case but you never know these days.
raindeerpie t1_j02fkfr wrote
is that pledge enforceable? if so how is that legal? it's probably harmless since most everyone going would be voting democratic anyway. but i don't think you can legally force someone to vote for your candidate in the general election. i do know primaries can limit who votes.

that's why it's important to vote on actual election day. there are no guaranteed winners.

sometimes that stuff comes back with a vengeance and with little warning. he was clearly planning on at least two more years in the house. I'm sure he had things well taken care of but he must have thought he had more time.

i do the same. sans the wife. yearly physical, optomoligist, and bi annual teeth cleaning. super easy and free with any basic insurance. no reason not to and it will avoid so many expensive problems when you really get old.

thanks for the reply. this makes me feel better since I don't have any family history of cancer. i just hate seeing these diagnosed to dead in under a year stories. scares the shit out of me.

so this has me worried. when are you supposed to get screened? what are the signs. is it one of those once you reach a certain age thing? i suppose i should talk to my doctor.
