How long does it take you to figure out which is which? Not long. Whether the music is simple and catchy or complex and noisy, you still know what you like and whether this is it pretty quickly. I like a lot of music I didn't fully get right away, but I immediately knew I liked it enough to give it another listen.

Is Shapiro's gone? Haven't thought about that place since I moved out of the neighborhood, but it was good.

Important correction- Gregg Bernstein was not "pretty good at his job but unable to connect", he was a total piece of shit whose handling of the police murder of Tyrone West directly set the stage for the 2015 uprising in reaction to the murder of Freddie Gray. Mosby's election and her defeat of the incumbent SA needs to be understood in that context. It helps explain the views of her supporters, who see her (right or wrong) as standing up to BPD and those who protect their bad behavior.

Then we agree we shouldn't exclude alternatives. Great! Pretty much everything else you wrote is taking issue with stuff I never said.

Why shouldn't people suggest alternatives to law enforcement? No matter how you feel about the police, this thread and others are full of examples of them failing to resolve issues like this.

Anti-Atlas folks would tell you to avoid Tagliata because of Atlas. I'm telling you to avoid it because of the mediocre, overpriced food. This is a thread about soliciting opinions on food, so you can miss me with that "just don't go" bullshit.

Sabatinos is my personal go-to for Italian. I used to bartend in that area and people raved about Tagliata and I don't know why. I found nothing to recommend the overpriced food at that place besides the parm cheese they serve off the block with the bread. It's not bad food, it's just unimpressive for the price.

My mom used to live 200ft from a light rail track, and you'd hardly notice it coming by if you weren't looking out the window. They're barely louder than low level automotive traffic.

I dunno how long it's been since you lived in the Copycat, but take it off your list. During the pandemic it was discovered that Charlie doesn't have a rental license and can't legally collect rent. The building is mostly empty now and is even more of a clusterfuck than it used to be, which is really saying something.

It's exactly the solution I think it is. I don't disagree it won't have immediate results, that doesn't mean it isn't the answer. You haven't made any attempt to say it isn't.

> you need an immediate solution to address it.

Right back at you. I haven't heard anything constructive from you on that subject besides doing more of what's already failed.
