how is ESD normally triggered? I always just touch my keyboard without thinking about this risk.

Incoming QK75 opening this month or next.
Info about upcoming GBs are usually in discord so I agree, hard to find info.
And KBDfans arent always going to have the ones you are looking for as they go to different vendors.

Thanks, I will buy a few tecsee ice candies to test them out. The smoother stem and pc housing might give a similar sound, more wobble I guess but at least no annoying scratch.

Stock Aqua Kings are factory lubed, albeit lightly. I agree with the sound. The best switch I've ever heard and people here say switches don't affect sound much. These definitely do. I've used them on an FR4 plate keyboard with no case and even it made it sound deeper

I also lubed them but didn't remove the factory lube. I think I'll pick the extra scratchy ones and apply more lube. I also noticed filming doesn't really do much as these barely already have any wobble. Maybe filming it even makes it worse because of how tight it already is.

The one place I change it is on spacebar. I use silent switches on them. The rest would throw me off. Even sectioning the diff switches on F row, num row. I can still feel the difference and it isn't pleasant.
If you're doing it for Enter or Backspace and the end result is consistency, I think it's good. I find it too hard to get right so I didnt try it

You fell in love with keycaps in production and will be released later. I fell in love with keycaps that sold out our 2 years go.
As for me, I moved on and went on to get other keycaps. Should it happen to you in the future, I think you will be able to find something else once you accept it is gone

I use silents on space bars. Still kinda loud though but not as loud as a regular switch I suppose

Not many people are willing to shell out 140$ for an original GMK set. People are even surprised I spent 50$ on some keycaps. I myself have never owned a GMK set. for one, I don't like the ABS material in terms of texture and feel. I prefer PBT. two, it's expensive and because it's ABS, it will eventually lose its texture shine from usage. 3, it's limited and its production takes 1-2 years before you actually get it.

I've just checked the video for these. They have that LED that goes through the switch. I'm almost certain that can only be attached via soldering so you can't actually remove the switches to lube them. (desoldering isn't worth it imo)
most mainstream retail keyboards will have soldered switches unless it's advertised as hot-swappable.

LOL. And the knob and slider also control the volume right? 3 volume controls if you have the GMMK Pro?
It's convenient because it's bluetooth so I can move it around. I'd probably pair it with my non-knobbed keyboards...but at 130.00? Not so sure about that price...

Reply to We Need More 75s by QWERKey-UK
For some reason, I like the aesthetics of 65 but like the usefulness of 75.
Unfortunately I also don't like the compacted 75 where the F and number rows have no space. I guess I collect 65 keyboards for display but actually use 75 for work and at home. And thus I like to buy more 65 but only keep 2 75s at a time
