You think that cuomo shoving COVID patients into nursing homes had something to do with that? It's hard to even imagine a more disasterous policy than putting people sick with COVID into nursing homes.

Or what about the gross mismanagement of some hospitals?

Literally the "I was just holding the knife and he ran into the blade!" "Your honor I was just holding my fist out and he smashed his face into my fist level and over again!" defense. Leftist identity politics are now requiring everyone to not question obvious lies.

Compare this to the way Bragg treated the bodega worker who was getting the shit kicked out of him by someone and stabbed him in self defense. Bragg tried to throw the book at him. A criminal justice system that treats people differently based on immutable charactierics is evil.

Get a giant winter coat. Dressing in layers is kind of bullshit since you'll be constantly going from freezing streets to warm subways, taxis, stores, etc. You can then just take your coat off.

First of all, there are four words you need to keep in mind. This too shall pass.

Second, you need to get out of your head and into your body. Zone three cardio for at least 20 minutes has been shown to lead to significantly reduced levels of anxiety and depression and the results come a few minutes after you finish and can last for a few hours. If you can devote 20 minute a day to exercise, you might get enough distance from your anxiety to come up with more realistic response to your situation. IE how you feel is not necessarily an accurate representation of your situation. SO deal with the feelings first, then try to work on actually fixing things in reality. Right now you're trying to do both at once and it's not helping. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5827302/

Even if your brain is telling you otherwise, it will start producing dopamine in response to working out and your anxiety will go down, albeit temporarily. But getting that temporary distance from your anxiety might help you rationalize a bit more and maybe realize your response to your current situation is being blown out of proportion by your brain.

You seem to be confused here. We are discussing the incomes of typical voters for both parties. Historically the democratic party was the party of the working and middle class. Now they're becoming the party of the very rich and very poor. They abandoned the middle and working class and left them for the republicans, who used to be the party of the rich.

>Some recent US figures on the distribution of income by party: 65 percent of taxpayer households that earn more than $500,000 per year are now in Democratic districts; 74 percent of the households in Republican districts earn less than $100,00 per year. Add to this what we knew already, namely that the 10 richest congressional districts in the country all have Democratic representatives in Congress.

For some reason these facts are making people very angry. We went from Occupy Wall street to letting them try to pretend that skin color and not class are what divides us. Coincidentally this leaves the 1% off the hook. While we fight over skin color, we let them get away with the largest wealth transfer in history from the poor to the rich during the lockdowns.
