Edit: Jared Enterprises owns the land, unless they sold it.

2nd edit: the property hasn't been sold since 2013, the sbj article i linked above shows the property owner as Jared Enterprises.

So then you should know Greg is the member of the Cheddar's family, who provided the license to Gene Marsh, who is the majority owner of FD's. All easily verified public information.

Lindberg's. I can take or leave their burgers, I'm not a huge "go out for burgers" guy so that's not as important, but their fries are divine, especially with their house ketchup.

Combination of the owner being a massive prick and them just never being that good to begin with, imo. When they opened Springfield was starved for a decent burger, so they seemed better than they really were. Now other places do it much better. Nothing has really changed, which is part of the problem.

I had an absurdly good ribeye there awhile back when I had craving for steak, and luckily the other places I was going to go were full. I paid less than $50, maybe even closer to $30, including a whiskey (a good one and a double pour, I was celebrating) and left very satisfied.

Well, your first problem is that you think Springfield is diverse.

I don't care where they came from, I care about their actions, which show they're basically mercenaries for the rich and white.

Even a decade ago the police didn't do shit about theft, unless it was from a big corporate store or a McMansion in Ravenwood. "They are short officers" is just the latest excuse for them to not do anything at all to help the average person.

I was here yesterday. Had a really fun time, I just hope they are more organized today, my kid was disappointed the dude setting up the video gaming area didn't show up until 6 hours late, but the Amtgard arena more than made up for it for him, I think.

Just be prepared for lots of blank stares when you ask the booths to fill out your scavenger hunt papers. Bring a pen so they have something to sign it with for you.

If you order food online in advance, it doesn't have the 18% charge. I did ask the server one time I was in there, and they do get those fees as well. It was an attempt to keep the few employees they had after they opened back up.

Edit: somebody else in the thread says they don't get the service fees. Idk. It's been a year or two since I talked to the server, ymmv.
