They have a mini station there

FYI, the Airport Train Station is not accessible from Newark, only as a transfer between trains.
The 107 stops by Meeker Ave, the 107X does NOT.
Also, its not a nice area FYI.

They kicked out the exiting tenants, did a lot of knocking things down, and have done no work in 3-4 weeks since

7-eleven is open 24/7. The "good corner stores" in downtown Newark close at 8pm
>And who even knew there was a 7eleven in the Bamberger’s building?
I did. Much nicer than the Broad Street one.

Tons of people get jobs in NJ but want to live in the city. Theres currently not a good place for that

Uh, arent they in the process of currently knocking down two massive buildings, including the hotel? They plan on leaving giant holes?
.....oh, I guess they could leave the giant holes there until they get enough "incentives" to fill them with something

SEPTA will only take you into Philly. From Trenton, yuo can take NJT into NYC.
There is a train from Philly to Atlantic City (run by NJT), and from north Jersey to many beach towns. However, there is no transit between Trenton and the beach. Unfortunately, most of transit in NJ is about getting you to NYC or Philly, but not so much between NJ cities.

Trenton isnt really a big city, not these days. Theres almost no activity past 6pm. There are a couple of cute neighborhoods, but youll be bored quickly especially as someone just 22/25.
Asbury Park is "only" and hour away, but your summer commute time with be significantly worse than winter.
All the replies youre about to get are going to recommend central NJ towns, but I would look at PA by a SEPTA station so you can pop into Philly whenever.

Any of the 5 hotels near Newark Penn Station are fine. There are buses to East Orange from there (the train to East Orange stops at Broad Street Station and no hotels next to that, but its a 20 minute walk if you prefer)

We could buy this argument for the leading cast, and one could even try for a reach and say that Friends is a criticism of this fact.
The issue is that the cast is also almost entirely white as they interact with the world around them which shows us this is an issue with the studio/writers.
They live in Manhattan, not Staten Island.

And there it is.
Amazing how "What is about friends that people deem “problematic” so quickly turned into "So what to you is the right amount of non white people? In a show about 6 white people"
Fuck off with your trolling.

NYC is incredibly diverse and in 236 episodes there are like 5 non-white people with speaking lines including the "sassy black woman" trope for the bus driver

Voting in NJ is so....disappointing. My ballot has two (2) whole columns. House rep and county exec.
All my local races were April/June, designed intentionally to discourage voting.
In California you get at least 20 fun questions and a 50 page reference manual
