As you say, these things increase revenue which I trust allows for better care for the animals and improvements in zoo infrastructure which also benefits our animal friends. RWP Zoo just received I believe 5 million for improvements from the city of Providence. Serving the city and region by providing educational infotainment to children and adults creates goodwill resulting in additional tax supported funding which should further improve conditions for the animals. Some of the malcontents in this discussion just bitch about everything and fail to see the things that are going right and the improvements being made. I acknowledge shortcomings for RWP zoo, but the trends are positive. RWP in general is a treasure of lil Rhody.

We stream tvs, have two computers, and use wifi for cell phones with 250mbps. But we never exceed five devices at once. Sounds like you need the 500 for your situation though.

Is planned parenthood months out to see someone? I thought they could get patients in quickly for just such circumstances? CVS walk in medical clinics might be another possibility

I always call and threaten to switch to fios and they know my home is set up. They always come down on price. Threaten to switch to DSL and tell them you got a better rate.

I voted no on the playgrounds. That is something easy to get corporate money for. "The Nestle Childrens Park" "The Heinz Ketchup Cranston East Baseball diamond" etc.

Oh there are always lots of bond issues. And they are literally billions of dollars. It is crazy ...but CA is now the 6th largest economy in the world if it were a country. The investments in infrastructure have been worth it. However, I couldn't afford a home there on a professor's salary so here I am...

It is a public university so it depends on tax dollars to supplement tuition.
