I used to feel this way, a bit less so now. But still, there were a lot of options on the eps that probably would have been better picks. To this day, I can’t understand why they didn’t ask me for help on that.

I don’t see much jam band celebration on this subreddit interestingly enough, a comment here or there. Definitely not a fan personally, but I guess I kind of ‘get it’, which is more than I can say for a lot of acts (cough…Linkin Park).

On the other side, I have a ton of respect for the Blizzard Twizzard, but haven’t been able to get into it. I give it a whirl here and there, but hasn’t clicked with me yet.

In truth, they are one of the only acts I can think of where extended time period between albums doesn’t equate to garbage output. So, cheers to them!

Tool are great, but not sure about deep dive given the limited output over 3+ decades. Unless you just want to talk endlessly about fettuccine sequins.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never listened to that album despite being a Pantera fan since the mid 90s.
You may be right about this, I’ll check out these songs. Unlike you, I do think Pantera is hit and miss on all of their albums, but man do I love the hits.

Yes, but…over the air is becoming more and more uniform. We HAD a pretty solid local station, until 1 week ago. Now there is just a message that plays over and over saying it was sold. I expect to hear I Heart Radio on it within the year.

Look, having nuclear my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world it’s true! but when you're a conservative Republican they try oh, do they do a number that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners now it used to be three, now it’s four but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.

I don’t think this question is all that great for acts like Radiohead, Pink Floyd etc.
It’s like, yeah, I guess I can pick one, but there are too many. Favorite album is a bit better, but still…

It actually might be if OP was as knowledgeable on music as he claims to be, AND the responses were clever.
However, you can expect biting critiques such as
‘mid’
and
‘This is your favorite song?’
Here you go OP, stay in your lane:

It seems like you really want to listen to this album, so listen to it.
Pretty sure this guy has been saying crazy things for years, this is just the latest. He’ll say something crazy next month and I’m sure everyone will be talking about whatever that is. The routine seems to work, he’s always at the top of the news feed.
I’ve never listened to any of his stuff because I find the routine incredibly annoying, and I think discussing it just makes the routine stronger, but…here I am, talking about it…
Anyway, do whatever you want, just don’t look to any celebrities for any real world guidance
