Yeah, lots of people here don’t seem to understand the potential ramifications of starting a fight with a neighbor you share a driveway with. Not sure where the “get off my lawn” mentality comes from but starting a fight over some sign will doubtfuly end well for anyone.

My personal opinion is don’t discuss politics with neighbors. Put your own signs up but taking down their sign is a dick move.
You really want to start that argument? As others said, the easement is a contract. They have rights as well and nothing like exercising your rights at all hours of the day or night to prove the same point as removing a political sign.
Also, it’s just not neighborly (or Vermonty ) and do you want to start a fight with your neighbors over some political signs.

I picked a lot of apples with my dad growing up here. Most were from wild orchards and used to make jelly or cider. He was always in his flannel and rubber boots. He died a.while back. I would give everything I have to spend another fall afternoon picking apples with him. I miss you dad.

No, I didn’t need a ball joint. I have in other cars. And tie rod ends. In this case VT tire just wanted money. Had a coworker bring their 8 month old Subaru there for work. They were told they needed front suspension parts. VT Tire uses Montpelier’s ignorant white collar population as an easy target to upsell

It’s not just you. That is one of the spots some garages use. I have tried to get my car alignment done at VT Tire probably 6 times. Every time I needed a ball joint. I stopped trying and found a guy who was more honest. He said, may need a new one in a few years but you are fine now.
It’s hard to find an honest mechanic in general and Vermont strict laws make it easier for mechanics to take advantage of people. If you manage to find one I suggest you treat them well.

Rutland or ST. Albans. No contest. One of those two, maybe Barre if those two are full.

For it to stand up in court, the state needs to say it is a violation. The tenant does not get to make that call, even with pictures.
Was there a written violation and action plan by the city health inspector and fire marshal? Usually before any citation is actually given they are given an amount of time to remedy any issues. Did that happen?

Unless you are 100% sure that is what it is and you want to trip balls.
Even then, there are much less dangerous ways to trip.
