Back about 30 years ago UVM was caught accepting out of state students over in state students in order to get the higher tuition from them. UVM also say if you move to VT to attend UVM, even if you rent or buy a house, you are charged out of state tuition.

No roosters are friendly. There is a reason they fight them. One almost took out my eye and left me a nasty scar.

Barre is VT scary. There is no location in VT that is really scary. There is no place in VT I would feel uncomfortable walking home at 2:00 am. Unless it's animals. Coyotes used to bark at me from the woods when I walked the class 4 road home as a kid.

Same, guns were tools and we were taught to respect them and use them as children.

That was the real point. Gun laws don’t make people more or less safe. People make people more or less safe.

We all have some of the least restrictive gun laws in the country. Loaded concealed carry with no permit.

Right, the Tesla makes remote internet connected intrusion possible. People do it just to prove it can be done. Less people bricking your ford escort in the name of lolz

The issue with adding wheels and an engine to a computer.

Right, I think that stuff just adds to it.
The town posted a no outlet sign there to deter traffic but it’s very obvious from looking at a map, there is a clear outlet. If they lie about that, why should I believe their weight limit signs.

Well, I just explained that it is not and there is some historic precedence but ok.

I asked this question of some truck drivers once.
The general answer was, tourist towns often don’t like trucks rolling through. They have on many historic occasions put up signage which say trucks are not allowed, a bridge is too low or a weight limit is too low to discourage trucking traffic. Truckers have done research and discoverd they were lying and simply trying to prevent traffic.
The idea of Stowe lying to not have truck traffic is very believable.
So, it’s not always hubris or arrogance. They just plain don’t believe the signs.

First, I’m not wrong, I am deeply involved in this community on a personal and professional level.
Second, again, the money he spent would have served more clients if it was given to existing organizations rather then creating a new one. That money could have expanded the services serenity house offered much more than a new facility. Of course it does not play into the white savior story Trey pushes. Do you really think he has some new ideas or can do this better than organizations that have been doing it for years.
Third, go fuck yourself. You and Trey can both go back to your fucking yuppie New Jersey upbringing.

They money he spent on this would have served more people had it been given to existing organizations with existing infrastructure to serve more clients.
Less recognition, more people helped.
With that said, I am glad he did something as every little bit helps.

Unless you already have a ADU, you would need an extra 30k just to get a septic in on top of whatever else it would cost to build it. Toss in an extra cost if this sub gets its way and you need a licensed electrician/plumber/contractor and 50k won’t even begin to put a dent in the construction of a new ADU.

The right to use the easement. And drive in and out with loud music blaring or the engine revving at any time day or night is what I was referring to.
Depending on how petty the guy is, he could generally be annoying as fuck.
