I agree but that is not at all what you said. In fact I said the same thing in that only your car is covered, not your house.

What You said is, > Physical damage a/k/a "collision" covers your car. Uninsured motorist covers BODILY INJURIES.

And that is just plain misinformation. Perhaps in your haste you didn’t feel like explaining the intricacies of UM/UIM and how they apply but that does not change the post you made was just plain wrong.

Not to be a dick, but you are wrong and posting misinformation. I assume it is unintentional. First collision is not required in VT only liability insurance which pays if you are at fault. Your liability coverage has different maximum coverage amount for damage and bodily injury.

In addition every VT auto insurance policy includes uninsured/underinsured motorist which will cover both damage and bodily injury if you are hit by a motorist with no or not enough insurance.

As far as I know there are the VT minimums for auto insurance.

Here is progressive answer on what UM/UIM is

Here’s is a Forbes article. https://www.forbes.com/advisor/car-insurance/uninsured-motorist-coverage/

Geico https://www.geico.com/information/aboutinsurance/auto/uninsured-underinsured-motorist/

If you look at your insurance policy all this is spelled out in the coverage section. I am pretty sure VT requires both bodily harm and property damage in insurance minimums. This includes minimums in uninsured/underinsured coverages.

Here is the actual law that spells out the minimums in coverage If you would like to look as well.

Close, except the only person who would bring a basket to start with is a flat lander. A Vermonter will let you live you life and be polite if you decide to introduce yourself.

You may meet them the first time when they come to help because your car is stuck 1/2 in the road because you thought the density of plow snow is the same as fallen snow and though you could make it in or out of the driveway.

That’s a stupid response.

Yes I do love sugaring season. In fact, for many years I tapped trees.

Having participated in that agricultural practice has enabled me to see tapping trees can be dangerous to the tree. It also enables me to see the very clear fucking difference between using a natural resource to produce a product and driving a nail (which probably won’t be removed) into a tree for lolz.

This will get downvoted to hell but hopefully someone will see it first.

You gotta stop calling a male who has never shown any inclination of being gay a homosexual as the punchline of a joke. You may mot be using a slur but your whole joke is they are having sex with men. It’s homophobic. I doubt you are a rampant homophobe but when we as a society continue to use “straight man is gay” as an insult or punchline it perpetuates the problem,

There are so many.. so so many other things to insult this guy with cant you come up with something better. For real. Just stop. Stop with the “straight guy sucks dicks” or “straight guy is gay” jokes . Regardless of your intent, it is homophobic.

Wanda Sykes explained this much better than I am. There was a whole think before you speak campaign in 2008. It took a while, to sink in with me but eventually I got it.

If we want to stop marginalizing a community, stop making the sexual preference an insult. Simple enough.
