$140. 2,000sq Ft (4 bedroom - 3 floors). Keep it at 70°. 100 year old home. We are on the budget plant so it’s that cost all year around. Our dryer & stove are also gas.
We do the budget plan for our electric, too and that’s $160.
Hope that helps for anyone else considering

I would recommend Pittsburgh. Pop on over to r/Pittsburgh for more neighborhood specific advice.
I would not recommend munhall or McKeesport as others are for public transportation.
Ideally you’d be on the T-line or a bus route of sort. South Hills of the Pgh area (dormont) or greenfield-Oakland area for more of an art scene adjacent vibe.
Good luck!

I think it’s because pigs go forward. So you wouldn’t want to eat a chicken because it scratches back.
For the kraut.. my mom always just said it’s to clean your colon to leave that old shit behind you in the last year 😅

Mines a lot depending on portion size.
This is like 4-5 center cut pork chops. 2 bags of kraut, and 1 bag of yellow potatoes.
I season and sear the pork chop on each side. My seasoning is paprika and pepper.
Add a bag of sauerkraut, pork chops, diced red apple, and then another bag of kraut. I’ll add about a half table spoon to a tablespoon in the crock pot.
Mashed potatoes, skins on, boil- mash. add salt, pepper, butter, nonfat Greek yogurt, and a dash of almond milk.

I decided like.. 2 years ago to stop peeling my potatoes and never looked back.
we eat the skins here in this house. I also read that boiling potatoes with the skins on helps avoid the water getting absorbed & making the tatos mushy.
Obviously all up to independent taste but it’s cut so much time down on cooking for me.
Happy 2023!! Enjoy all of your delicious food friend. May it be a good one

It definitely helped with my hangover. I’ve already drank 72oz of water today. But those mashed potatoes 😮💨

I was up at 3:30 searing the pork off. Tossed it in on low and woke up ready to rock (pretty much). Current self is very pleased with my past selves decision

I mean she diagnosed me with precancerous cells and gave me a cryro consequently after my first apt. Then diagnosed me with endo within my first 6 months of obscure complaints. Then had me on the table shortly after my sonograms. I always thought she was fine enough. I know some people take decades to get diagnosed. I do wish she would update her procedures since only doing ablations suck. I think she’s close to retirement now. Sorry to hear you had such a bad time

Are you familiar with how the insurance portion would function by chance? Like if I needed surgery but it was from an in-house doctor? Dr.Maj operates out of UPMC but was going to do my procedure at west Penn for insurance

Good to know!! Thank you. I’ve never had a male gyno so I’m kind of weary. I mean ultimately it’s a doctor. But to know there’s good bedside manner helps my anxiety for sure

Yeah, I was on my fathers union insurance where I could go to either AHN or UPMC for years. I’m just partial but from what I’m hearing, it’s UPMC Magee for any endo specialists

So my insurance (BCBS) said UPMC Magee was in network. I think I’ve had such a horrible experiences with UPMC, that I’m so skeptical that it’ll be ok. Like I’m concerned they’ll mess up my billing or not file a claim correctly to my insurance.

I was scheduled for my second ablation on 3/28/2020… so safe to say that didn’t happen! I love doctor maj but she delivered my step sister who has had 4 kids consequently. She’s just getting a little out of date in her current practicex and I really wanted a more endo specialized doctor.
Thank you for the rec!

Duquense Club, tomorrow (9/19), at 3:30. Wear silly tux shirts and your wedding gown(s). Also bring pots and pans to smack around and kazoos.
Edit: 11/19

I personally just like stable bills. Some people prefer to budget for more in the winter and less in the summer. Really up to preference.
