I’ve got the garmin mini. Has great reviews. It was pricey. But has been very reliable. I think you get what you pay for with these things.

Wow. I just looked this up. They’ve made big changes over the last 5 years because employee retention was so low. That’s a huge step, they’ve also increased their minimum wage in most places as well.

The problem with Wal mart is that they don’t give full time jobs. The manager and assistant manage are typically the only people in a store that are considered full time. Once you’re a full time employee, they need to start providing you with benefits.
Everyone else is part time. It makes it easy to fire them and they don’t get any benefits.

Lots of vehicles have overrides. My 2009 Toyota would not allow you to lock it from the outside while running. It would lock and then immediately reopen.

Fish need very specific water temperatures to spawn in. Artificially heated lakes would require warmer climate fish for something like this to work. It would be interesting to see how it works.

Better based on what metric? One vacuum can’t perform better than another.

To be fair, this saw could have been used daily for those 35 years and it would still be running if it had received some grease a handful of times over the span. That saw is as well built as it could have been.

I live in Canada where sports betting laws have recently changed. I am constantly bombarded with ads to get me to start gambling. I avoid many things like this because I know how easy it is to become addicted.
How do you deal with the morality of creating a product that will likely end up ruining a percentage of users’ lives?
