Dude chill. Where did I say I have a problem with it? I literally said in the post I don’t care. I’m just curious since it seems unique to our state sub. I don’t really think I’m gatekeeping anyone by asking this question and saying nothing about thinking that it should be residents only. But hey if that’s the buzzword you just had to use then go for it.

I don’t want a sub for residents only. I’m curious to see what the split of folks here is and that’s about it.

Thank god for the registry. Guy up the road from me has a charge for sexual assault on a minor less than 12yo. He's constantly in and out of jail for other things and EVERYONE knows when he is being released as people blast it on every public forum they can.

We had a break in that coincided with one of his releases. I was unaware of him and i must've had 15 people in my tiny town reach out to say that they suspected it was likely him. I certainly don't feel bad for the guy but it's at the point where he is blamed for literally any crime that happens in our small town. And honestly I can't think of much of a better punishment. He is literally the town pariah and can't even leave his meth lab trailer to show his face.

You sure it's closer? May be closer straight distance wise, but driving wise including border crossing I doubt you'll be saving much time.

You moved to Burke, driving a long ass way for anything is now part of your lifestyle lol.

Everyone here thinks this is cute and cool....

As a general rule, you should always leave loons alone. As a general rule, you should never get this close to wildlife. They do not spend much of any time on land except for when they are nesting. As a matter of fact, they NEED water in order to take off. Luckily this one is close to the water, but it is highly unusual that it would let you get so close.

Nothing cool or cute here. Mostly just concerning.

She wants you to take pictures of her for insta, doesn't she?

Jk - apples will be a bit far gone by then BUT i would check out Stine Orchard (formerly Boyers) they usually have live music, drinks, fall activities, etc each weekend. It's in Monkton so a short jaunt from Hinesburg.

You can also check out Sam Mazzas for more pumpkin-y stuff and a corn maze. They are in Colchester, probably 40ish minutes from Hinesburg

Fluid film is is a natural product made from lanolin. Any undercoating place worth their salt uses fluid film. The sketchy places literally spray your undercarriage with used motor oil.

The bigger thing is, if possible, to park it somewhere on pavement or cement. Gravel driveways and parking on grass are like rust magnets.

It was pretty short lived. I was only walking my dog for maybe 20 mins and when i first went out it looked like a plane trail, about halfway through the walk it was vibrant and moving, and by the end of the walk it was much dimmer and clouds were moving in.
